TrustFlight announced that Icelandic MRO and AOG services provider, Ground Maintenance Technics (GMT), has selected TrustFlight’s Safety, Quality, and Risk Management platform, Centrik 5, to gain EASA Part 145 Safety Management System (SMS) compliance. In addition to satisfying the mandate, GMT will leverage Centrik for operational efficiencies across its organization while also reducing risk and enhancing safety.
Servicing large aircraft, including Airbus A318/319/320/321/330, Boeing 737/747/757, and a range of Embraer, GMT provides line maintenance and AOG services to major airlines around the world.
“As our company grows, our focus remains on ensuring that quality and safety remain the number one priority for GMT,” said Albert Óskarsson, director of compliance at GMT. “When evaluating our options, it was clear that TrustFlight’s system was a preferred solution among many of our customers. After initial consultation and a demonstration of its capabilities, it was apparent as to why.”
GMT will leverage Centrik’s full ecosystem of modules, including Safety, Compliance (Quality), Risk, Training, Workflows, Documents, and Regulations to streamline and enhance its operations. With the elimination of outdated, paper-based processes through TrustFlight’s Centrik 5 solution, GMT can increase operational efficiencies, improve safety, and ensure continuous growth for their organization’s safety and compliance processes.
“TrustFlight’s Centrik is known as a leader in the industry for its robust yet unique SMS, QMS and risk management capabilities,” said Karl Steeves, CEO, TrustFlight. “Centrik is used in nearly every sector of aviation, and we’re proud to share that specialized organizations such as GMT have recognized the value that our system brings to their processes, above and beyond basic compliance.”
