AJW Group Announces Angus Whiteside’s Appointment to the Board of Directors.

AJW Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Angus Whiteside to the company’s Board of Directors, further strengthening the business’s leadership team as it continues to grow and expand its capabilities across the global aviation industry.

Angus brings a unique combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and competitive drive to the board.

Attending Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, where he achieved a first in International Business, he completed Harvard Business School’s Online Financial Accounting programme, deepening his commercial management expertise.

Angus began his career as a mechanic at AJW Technique in Montreal, then progressed to Bombardier, and later qualified as a B1 Aircraft Engineer at Volare Aviation. Here, he developed extensive experience in technical operations, regulatory compliance, and engineering excellence. In 2025, he returned to AJW Group, where he spent time in each department before settling in Commercial.

Angus combines his astute academic skills with extensive experience in the aviation sector. An accomplished racing driver and former Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion, he currently competes in the GT World Challenge Endurance. His continuous improvement on the track directly mirrors the qualities he brings to his professional career – a relentless pursuit of excellence and drive to succeed in high-pressure environments.

Angus lives in West Sussex with his wife, Kotryna, and their dog, Maverick.
