Aviation Technical Services Accelerates Asia Through Addition of Regional Part Provisioning

ATS (Aviation Technical Services) signed a letter of intent with DHL Global Forwarding (Singapore) for integrated warehousing services for select ATS FAA Approved PMAs as well as used serviceable airframe and engine parts targeted for use on Asia-based commercial aircraft. ATS, an industry-leading
provider of airframe and component MRO, engineering solutions, and USM offerings, will utilize
the expertise of its Ranger Air USM and PMA Distribution team to ensure compliance as well as
speed and ease with order fulfillment. Utilizing the go to market name of ATS Asia, inventory is
expected to be staged in Singapore by March 1.

“ATS has been increasing its commitment to the Asia region, most recently through component
repair field sales presence and now through the placement of high-demand parts nearby,”
stated Dennis Santare, SVP of ATS Component & Engineering Solutions. “The majority of our
ATS FAA Approved PMA Parts selected for this initial provisioning have already received in-
region airline approvals so we are positioned to expedite previous long lead time and AOG
situations even further by forward-deploying the parts.”

The initial provisioning of ATS PMA parts will consist of consumable and expendable parts in
flight deck, cargo compartment lighting, fuselage and wing support, and in the engine nacelle for narrowbody aircraft. USM components will represent a mix of narrowbody and widebody accessories, with the goal of offering exchange services supported by ATS and partner repair shops, managed through Ranger Air’s repair management service team.

“Singapore’s aviation industry is experiencing high growth, particularly in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector. Last year, the country accounted for 10% of the global MRO output. ATS’s expansion in Singapore reinforces the nation’s position as Asia Pacific’s leading aviation hub. At DHL Global Forwarding, we see immense opportunities in this sector and are happy to support our customers with their growth through even more resilient, high-performance logistics solutions,” stated DHL’s Praveen Gregory, managing director, DGF Singapore & Malaysia.
