PCB Piezotronics (PCB) is introducing the new Endevco Series 2680B airborne charge amplifier. This small, rugged, and lightweight signal conditioner is designed for use with piezoelectric sensors and is environmentally qualified for use in flight testing applications.
The 2680B series has been designed to withstand the hostile environments in most flight test applications. Units have been qualified for shock and vibration survivability and meet MIL-STD-461G (EMC) and MIL-STD-202G (Hermeticity).
Accurate gain adjustment is achieved by digital programming via the output connector of the unit, removing the need for any mechanical adjustment and allows for a hermetic seal. Units are field programmable with the use of an optional external programmer, Endevco Model 4876-KIT.
Series 2680B features:
• Biased and unbiased outputs
• High accuracy digital gain adjustment
• Selectable low pass filter options
• Meets MIL-STD-461G (EMC)
• Meets MIL-STD-202G (Hermeticity)
• Qualified for shock and vibration survivability
Series 2680B can be used in flight testing, gas turbine engine testing, and rocket launch payload acoustic measurements.
Series 2680B replaces Series 2680 with several improvements, including: an improved gain adjustment, a lower source resistance minimum to allow for use with high temperature accelerometers and pressure sensors, improved gain accuracy and stability, improved linearity, and is a hermetically sealed unit.
