Magnetic Engines Marks 10 Years of Standards, Stamina, and Solved Problems

Tallinn, Estonia, November 18, 2025 – Magnetic Engines, a member of Magnetic Group, celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of steady growth built on precision, predictability, and proven performance.

Established in 2015 within a modest 100 sqm workshop in Tallinn, Estonia, the company has since expanded to a 1,300 sqm space and delivered more than 319 customer engine events worldwide, serving 67 clients by early 2025.

“We didn’t chase scale – we chased standards,” said Risto Mäeots, CEO of Magnetic Group. “From the start, Magnetic Engines built its reputation on precision and predictability. Growth was the consequence, not the goal.”

“I knew the shop would make it the moment we released our first aircraft in Ponta Delgada back in 2015,” said Filip Stanisic, Managing Director of Magnetic Engines. “Meeting ATOPS criteria so early, and outside our comfort zone, proved our processes worked. From there, it became simple: do the right things the same way, every time.”

From its first external inspections in Ponta Delgada in 2015 to executing complex Core Performance Restorations (CFM56-3) and DAC to SAC conversions, Magnetic Engines has continuously expanded its technical depth while maintaining consistent quality.

“We’ve always expanded the same way: capability first, capacity second,” explained Stanisic. “We validate a process at a small scale and only then expand the space to keep standards steady. That’s why every expansion: 2021, 2022, 2024 felt like a natural step, not a leap.”

Today, Magnetic Engines’ 10-year journey stands as proof that discipline drives dependability. With every repair, inspection, and release, the company remains committed to its founding principle – quality above all else.

“The next chapter is smarter data, deeper cross-training, and targeted capability additions that lift engine availability for operators,” said Stanisic. “Growth will follow the work, not the other way around.”

“Ten years in, the ambition hasn’t changed,” added Risto Mäeots.
