Global coatings manufacturer Mankiewicz received an Airbus Supplier Award in the “Game Changer” category for developing a new primer for the A350.
Close collaboration, exceptional speed, and a product that meets the requirements of the most advanced materials used in aircraft
construction earned Mankiewicz the prestigious Game Changer award at the annual Airbus Global Supplier Conference. It is the
highest distinction Airbus can award to its suppliers.
The aviation coatings experts, who draw on decades of experience in aviation coatings for exterior, interior, and structural parts,
developed a primer specifically designed for composite components. It ensures excellent adhesion, whether the aircraft is flying in freezing temperatures at 33,000 feet or standing on the tarmac under the desert sun.
Within this award, Airbus recognized not only the development of the product, but also the speed and collaborative approach with which it was brought to operational readiness.

The Game Changer Award is already the second distinction Mankiewicz has received from Airbus in 2026. This spring, the
coatings manufacturer won the Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Program’s SQIP Award in the Materials & Parts category for the fourth consecutive year.
