RECARO Aircraft Seating (RECARO), a global leader in aircraft seating solutions, continues to strengthen its leadership team with the appointment of Andreas Erber as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Member of the Executive Board, effective September 2026. With a strong industry outlook and a robust order book, the company is accelerating its focus on innovation, engineering excellence, and sustainable growth.
Andreas holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart. He began his professional career at a company specializing in carbon fiber, where he spent nearly ten years in various leadership roles including Head of Thermoplastic Composites, Director Lightweight and Application Center, and Vice President Aerospace. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at a large automotive and aerospace supplier, with a strong focus on aviation, engineering, and advanced composite technologies. With his deep technical and aviation expertise and proven leadership, Andreas Erber is an excellent fit for this role.
